Basically, every device that modifies Push's behavior (that customize some buttons/pads/encoders) won't currently work with P3, that is: Snapshooter, PAM and BiP.
But they can be part of a set in Push Standalone (if you e.g transfer it from Live) without any problem. They'll just don't do anything, but once you transfer your set back to Live and use it with Push1/2, they work as usual.
Could be using P3 only in Standalone and have your P1/2 always hooked up to Live.

M4L has been so deeply disfunctional that I'm genuinely considering pursuing a refund for Ableton and switching to Bitwig. It's the only reason I bought Suite

hello. does PAM works (or will work with the next update) on Push3 (not the standalone one)? I’m hesitating to buy push 2 or push 3 but will use it a lot in arrangement view, so PAM will be definitely mandatory for me

Yes definitely! I've been postponing updating the device, but it'll be there when L12 is released.
